Whoa, it's been over a year since I wrote a blog. Somehow, Blogger survived. It's probably been a rough go, but they eeked through.

To the left are our boxer puppies that have been disturbing my sleep for the last five weeks. There are actually six of them, but one was missing when I took this picture.

Only three more weeks and we can hopefully find them a home.

The local school has spring break this week so the house is deserted aside from me, my wife and the dogs.

I'm in 1,825th place in an NCAA basketball deal I signed up for through The Daily Oklahoman. No, I'm not in last place. There are actually around 10,000 people signed up. So there!

I believe the Final Four teams will be Kansas, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio State. Really went out on a limb there, eh? Picked the top seeds in each region. I didn't think Kansas would go all the way but after watching them lately, they are really on a roll and better than what I expected.

My fantasy baseball team bites. Here's a link, hopefully it works. I don't know anybody else in the league, for a change. Usually, I try and get some friends to play but either I don't have enough friends or they don't enjoy fantasy baseball. Plus, now I don't have to worry about hurting anybody's feelings. You want to make a trade? I don't think so. Denied.

Pro baseball starts in a couple of weeks. I haven't had an attachment with the league for a long time. It's the whole not having a favorite team thing to get excited about. When I was a kid, it was all about the Cincinnatti Reds. I'd stay up and watch the news every night (at least during baseball season...duh!) to see if they won.

Now with the silly way players can move from team to team, it's hard to get hooked on a team. Plus, we don't really have a local team here. So, this year, I want to have a favorite team. I do require that the team goes at least .500. Any suggestions, let me know.

Mowed the yard for the first time on Saturday. Naturally, I wheezed and coughed the rest of the weekend. I always like mowing the first couple of times, at least until it gets hot.
